Crypto 101: If you have SBD to sell, DON'T use Bittrex today. All...

The prices for SBD are low again the last week. If you want the most bang for your buck, always check 2-3 exchanges like the title here says, to find out where the best deal is for YOU.

Some days the pairings are so close it does not matter really.

Other days like today when things might literally earn or cost you 10 or 20¢ more or less for every coin you trade, it adds up!

Some days, details count when you want to exit or enter a position at a crucial time, and don't want to leave money on the table.

If you have 10, 50 or $100 or more to sell, than it REALLY adds up.

Our friend here Hive account@teamsteem had a very strong warning to all of us here, he does not want to see anyone hurt - he has a good heart -- he warned people like others have done to NOT USE POLONIEX for any Steem or SBD transfers right now:

I used the Poloniex charts just as an example, below, for graphic purposes but here is what Hive account@teamsteem said in the comments section below, I edited this post as it was important to him and I like him - he is a good guy!!

Poloniex is the biggest exchange going - most people know their name and logo and charts, it was for a graphic illustration only!

I've sent 490 SBD 23 hours ago to Hive account@poloniex and I haven't received them. I've triple check my memo code and opened up a ticket to Hive account@poloniex to let them know. I also seen a lot of Steemian in the last hours to days who talked about the similar situation.

Hive account@barrydutton as soon as you see my comment, correct your title so that it tell people not to sent SBD to Poloniex. Also make a clear warning that it might be the same for Steem as I've also seen people mentioning that the same happened to them in regard to sending Steem to poloniex.

I will remove my flag when you do so and I might even replace it with an upvote.

To break this down for you since you may not be able to or want to read the numbers, - Polo is trading currently (and all day) around 15¢/SBD HIGHER than Bittrex.

0.00055297 BTC as compared to 0.00066962 BTC -- and at times today, it has been about DOUBLE the difference meaning ~ 20¢ lower value you get for every SBD you try to sell today on Bittrex.

Poloniex charts for the day, look at the current / high and low daily postions. Much higher than Bittrex today, and ALL day too.
