Hey folks, TGIF eh? August 1 fast approaches and it will be great to put that behind us. If you missed my rant re: Bitcoin Cash yesterday, give that a look-see. I'm not at all concerned - they are just annoying and Choo lodged a formal rant request ... Like most men, I struggle to say no to a lady in yoga pants.
Anyway here's the latest in ...
Crypto Markets
Lovely up-day from support yesterday, looks like the market is already shrugging of those BTC Cash clowns. I'd really like to see a break out of this wedge around August 1 - as I said in a post earlier this week, there is tons of room for consolidation if we can't muster a breakout. Initial support is 2400 and short term we are bullish above there. Falling wedge resistance comes in at 2900 today, with a break above there targeting the all time highs at 3k and beyond:
Ether is still doing the wet-blanket thing, I've actually exited my long position, wasn't going anywhere and capital was more productive elsewhere. I think things will pick up soon, but I can easily go long when they do - no need to wait around through the doldrums. As I said earlier in the week, the lows need to hold or it's all over:
Decent battle going on in the Steem market atm, sellers are keeping STEEMBTC subdued, but there's just as many buyers defending support. Worth noting that as Bitcoin is on the up again, no Steem news is good news. If pair were to break below the neckline, but this coincided with new all time highs on Bitcoin, none of us would really notice the difference. The horror scenario I was speaking of earlier in the week, is Bitcoin down against the USD, with Steem down against Bitcoin.
@Gohba.Handcrafts had a few words to say on the matter the other day: "Calm the feck down and just keep buying Steem" ...
Currently fetching $1.68 AUD, up around 10%. Also up against the buck, fetching $1.53 from a 24 Hour low of $1.34. SBD trading at a slight premium $1.02 up from a slight discount 24 hours ago at 99 cents on the dollar.
I'm on the tail end of the manflu and still on deadline for that project (aka 4 days overdue) so will have to love you and leave you there Steemit.
Shout out to the 67 homies nah mean?
... Actually on that note, that is a great song ... this is Bob Marley's gangster ass son, Damien "Jr. Gong" Marley, with NY boom-bap god NAS, and their classic crossover track Nah Mean:
