Speaking on Wednesday at CB Insights' Future of Fintech, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev said that more than a hundred million people were applying for crypto trading the following day after announcing the feature of the mobile trading application Robinhood.
Vlad Tenev, co-founder of the investment practice, says that despite the decline in Bitcoin prices over the last few months, crypto money is durable. Tenev, in particular, says that Bitcoin prices have been fluctuating in a similar way, and adds:
"Robinhood CEO: "Bitcoin is durable despite price drops."
Robinhood, a micro-finance investment application that tries to publicize the stock trade, entered the cryptographic sector at the beginning of this year, as mentioned earlier. Tenev adds these:
"It happened at that time when the biggest crypto money exchanges and brokerage firms were not in operation. They were out of use for days. We are focused on stability and reliability. We took care to fulfill user requests and opened up thousands of new accounts in one day."
Vlad Tenev thinks Blockchain is a little exaggerated
According to Tenev, the company is now trying to integrate more people into the ecosystem. Tenev continues his explanations with these words:
"People know us because of the crypto money, and they open an account in our application. On this count, people are actually involved in the entire Robinhood ecosystem."
Tenev also thinks that Blockchain is a little exaggerated. According to Tenev, entrepreneurs use decentralized accounting books to accommodate the mainstream even when normal versatile bases are sufficient. Yet Tenev says they want to be a leader in the market for the next ten years.
