The founder of Nevra (XEV) is a purist, at least where cryptocurrencies are concerned. In this digital age where blockchain technology is all the rage, a new cryptocurrency is born every minute or so it seems. Most of these so-called cryptocurrencies have no real world use except as a vehicle for their creator or founder to make a quick profit.
Indeed, scams are a dime a dozen in the cryptoverse these days and, contrary to popular belief, they are not exclusive to Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). There has been the donation scam, the masternode auction scam, the airdrop scam, and many more. As long as there is a way to solicit money from potential investors, there is a scam waiting to happen.

Nevra is essentially a statement of intent, an experiment that seeks to test the muddy waters of the Bitcointalk forum to determine how receptive the community would be towards an old-school cryptocurrency.
Nevra is based on 3 fundamental principles: equality of distribution, trust in the creator and the process, and the freedom to participate in the distribution process without being subjected to intrusive verification protocols.
80% of Nevra will be distributed to the community through a one-time airdrop. Interested parties can register for the airdrop by posting on the Nevra Bitcointalk Announcement Thread. There are no forms to fill or social media channels to join or follow. Registration for the airdrop will end on 31 March 2018 at 2359hrs (PST).
To prevent exploitation of the airdrop system, all airdrop participants will be subjected to 3 rounds of audit. Two of these audit rounds will be performed by the Nevra team and one will be carried out by the Bitcointalk community. Only those who successfully pass through all 3 audit rounds will qualify for 1 NevraStake.
NevraStake (NEV) will initially be created as an asset on the NEM blockchain. This will then be exchanged for Nevra (XEV) once the Nevra Mainnet is launched. This is expected to happen in Q4 2018. The Nevra Mainnet will be a fork based on the NEM blockchain. More technical information on the Nevra blockchain will be released at a later date.
