What is this about ?
Hi Steem community and crypto enthouthiasts !
This blog is going to be about the COSS crypto currency, there will be some stuff about news regarding the platform but I plan to talk mostly about the fees received, their evolution. I've seen a lot of questions online about the fee structure so hopefully these concrete exemples will help. Expect tables, bar charts and graphs !
I'll try to add some Python stuff as well later on as that's another passion of mine. We'll talk about accessing coin prices, data treatment with pandas and API access.
Wait, what is COSS ?
To keep it simple, COSS is a trading platform based in Singapore. What sets it apart from other platforms it that it pays 50% of the fees paid by users when they trade to holders of the COSS coin. A snapshot is taken every sunday to figure out who's holding COSS coins and the fees are distributed on the next tuesday.
People have written very good introductions to the platform, no need for me to repeat it here, I'll refer you to this very complete post on steem.
