I think for now: Both.
Both do have a very good team behind, a growing community and an innovative technologie.
For long term, the race will probably be decided by:
a) the partnerships they achieve
b) the stability of the platforms with their upcoming updates
c) and last but not least their social activities and how far the community will grow with
At the moment I think QTUM could make the race because of its one and only possibility to use smart contracts on mobile devices. In my opinion, this was a feature long overdue.
