Cryptocurrencies and tokens have been around for some time now. Those long existing ones like Bticoin, Ethereum, Litecoin etc has already swelled in value with time. The cryptocraze escalated late 2017 when bitcoin and other major asset's prices exploded. Everyone wanted to get their share of cake; but not everyone could afford.
Mining has also become very difficult due to high costs, high difficulties and basically does not seem practical especially for ordinary private individuals.
While we are focusing on the high flyers, now, there are also young coins gaining attention from the crypto community. For example, assets like Ripple (XRP), Stellar Lumens (XLM), Smartcash (SMART) and many others are gaining more market share now with very big markeet cap (refer top CMC for the numbers).
Here I am going to focus specifically on Smartcash and Stellar Lumens. Also please note that you need to invest first before you can get anything.
For Smartcash, all you have to do is to have a minimum 1,000 Smarts in a single address and do not touch it ever. This is very good for those of you who are long term investors. Every month on the 25th, a snapshot of each address holding above 1000 Smarts is taken and rewarded. The condition is you shall not touch the balances of that particular address. You can therefore assign 1 address specifically for Smart Rewards while the others for spending.
For more info, you can refer to https://smartcash.cc/what-are-smartrewards/.
For Stellar Lumens (XLM), there are these pools called inflation pools. They introduce new XLMs to the world through addresses that votes them. Depending on your account balances, it may not seem much, but hey, it's free money coming to you for doing nothing. Some of the Stellar wallets already have that option under their settings. All you have to do is to choose your desired inflation pool from the "pooldown menu option" (vary with wallets) and it will do the magic. For those without, you can refer to this website for instructions and information on what is this abot.
The website is https://www.stellar.org/developers/guides/concepts/inflation.html
At the moment, Lumenaut seem to be commonly voted as it claims not to charge service fees.
Summing up, before you start doing anything, please read up the necessary information from a verified source before attempting to do anything.
There are also many airdrops on-going for ERC tokens as well as Stellar tokens on a daily basis; literally. Be diligent when you participate in the airdrops. Make sure they are legit first before you give out your information.
Remember, better safe than sorry. Happy minting! ;)
