The different price of crypto-coin from one exchange to another isn't unique to cryptocurrencies. For instance $100 goes a lot farther at the Walmart in Kansas than the clothing shop on Rodeo drive. Heck even the price of the US dollar isn't constant and fluctuates compared to the Euro/Yen/GP.
