I got into cryptocurrency some time back but didn't pay much attention to it until late last year.
I'm interested in it from an investment standpoint and a technology standpoint, as I'm a software developer.
I plan to share my thoughts here on what I am learning and investing in. It is not financial advice.
At first I just owned some bitcoin, then I bought some ethereum, then bit by bit learned about other cryptocurrencies, wallets, exchanges, and so on.
Now I have diversified into about twenty different coins and tokens, a little in each one, with a good chunk of my portfolio still in bitcoin and ethereum (the "blue chips" of the crypto world).
Lately I have become interested in stable coins like MakerDAO (DAI, Maker) and Digix (DGX, DGD). DGD is the governance token for DGX, which is backed by actual gold, and it is one of the only tokens that has gone up in value while the market has tanked.
