This is the payout structure, so the winning depends on your rank in the contest and the prize pool. The prize pool comes from the number of teams allowed in the contests times the 'buy in' price and minus small percentage for commission , so the higher the buy in and the more teams involved the harder it is to win and the more risk you are taking therefore higher payout.
For free contests (0 buy in) the prize pool is decided by the person creating the contest usually the Nolimitcoin team to encourage new players to try the game with zero risk. In this contest the prize pool was 50 NLC, i got 8th place so i get 3.75%x50 which is 1.875
And you will get an email notification for the contests you won which is very helpful if you enter many contests
