While there is many coins I like going into 2018 these 3 are my favorites.

But in this article I am more directly saying that they are, in my opinion a smart buy. While the articles focused more on their tech and why their tech was good, this article will do some Technical Analysis and some news that affects each of them. So lets get started.

IOTA, if you look at the below technical analysis you can see that we are wedging which could send us ether up or down, but when you have a wedge forming and good news about to break you can usually count on the break out being up!

Now for the news- "Q1/Q2 2018 is when we start announcing some of the partnerships for AV testbeds". This news is not yet priced in and will surly cause a run up in the next few week.
SIA coin, if you look at the charts what we have is just a slow and steady run up, and once the news reaches more people I expect the run to gain more speed.

News- January 31st hard fork! "This fix is a hardfork that activates at block 139,000"
Vert coin, the TA on Vert coin does not point to any dramatic breakout but Vert coin is terribly undervalued. As I wrote in the article vert coin is very similar to Bitcoin Gold but in my opinion better, however Bitcoin Gold has $278 evaluation but VTC just under $7. This will not remain this cheap very long, especially with the news coming out very soon.
News- Vertbase (vertbase.com), an US-based exchange for Vertcoin and the US Dollar, is launching at the end of Q1 2018. This will make it one of the only coins people in the US can purchase with Fiat, making this coin and exchange a competitor of everything on Coin-base. I believe once the news of this exchange spreads and people realize they have another option to buy a digital currency without having to use Coin-Base (who is not bring investigated for insider trading), this coin will finally get the valuation it rightfully deserves.
