Again a month has passed and it was one where the markets went up quite a bit (and a little down again). Let me show you how my portfolio did.
Market update
The total market cap of cryptocurrencies went up about 10% from 114 bn to 130 bn. Bitcoin dominance went down, from 53% to 52%.
Looking at the prices of the individual currencies, Bitcoin went up from $3,750 to $3,850 this month. The price of Ethereum went up a lot more, from $108 to $137.
Current Portfolio
Again I didn't invest more money in Bitcoin and Ethereum. My overall portfolio value is now about €185 higher than one month ago, a nice result in such a short month! My portfolio shifted more to ETH. My personal BTC "dominance" is now at 61% (from 64%).
In total I have invested €2,600 in Ethereum and Bitcoin, so I'm still at a huge overall loss now (over 50%).
I did manage to increase my STEEM (Power) holdings the last month from 987 to 1,011 SP.
Progress towards a Model 3
As mentioned earlier, my goal is to make enough money to buy a Tesla Model 3. Up until now this was just a long term goal, because the base model (likely the only one I'll ever be able to afford) was not yet available. Yesterday however, the car was finally launched. A good moment to quickly determine how far off I still am. The last time I calculated it, I was at 5.0% of the estimated price. I had €2,175 in cryptocurrency investments back then. Now I own about €1,500, so I'm only at 3.6%. Quite disappointing ;(
Will we see a continued bull market the coming months (and the rest of the year)? Or will the market plunge once again and leave me with just enough money to buy the cheapest (1:18) Model 3 yet? We'll see it in the coming recaps.
