Bitcoin has been such a dominating force on the entire crypto market in recent times. Every time it has moved up, STEEM has dropped in satoshi value, anytime Bitcoin has crashed, mostly STEEM has dropped value again. Fortunately, it seems to be holding up now.
Wouldn't it be great if STEEM could pump back up a and recover some lost ground? With the HF21 around the corner, a few users have asked me what I think will happen.
Frankly, it's anybody's guess seeing how STEEM has crashed in satoshi value over the past many months. But it would be great to see it rise once again and surely it can happen, especially if BTC reduces its dominance giving the altcoin market a room to breathe.
Seeing how alts have been rekt over the past year, I highly doubt the resurgence of a real alt-season anytime soon. At least the likes of what we witnessed in early 2018 after BTC had completed its bull run by end of December 2017.
Whatever may be the case, the next few months will be interesting for Steem with the new HF21 coming in and some changes taking place with that. As for the price, hopium is all we got that it will go up again. There's not a lot indicating that it will anytime soon realistically. So just gotta wait and watch!
