Update about Bitconnect - it is a scam!
Since weeks there this talk bout whether Bitconnect is a scam or not.
In my opinion, Bix Weir explains pretty well, why Bitconnect is a scam. After the video of Clif and jsnip4, now Bix also did some research about Bitconnect and if you put all the information those three people found, it becomes quite obvious.
So I'd like to share some points that concern me:
- 95 % of BCC (Bitconnect) can only be exchanged on BCCs own privately hold exchange platform! It is not listed on any other big exchange, livecoin (2%) and hitBTC (0.85%) are the next platforms to exchange Bitconnect
- On the U.K. government site, where BCC is registered, states that the companies registration confirmation statement is overdue. They missed their statement date which was in July 2017.
- The person, under which the company is registered, hasn't been found yet. A man called Mr. Ken Fitzsimmons, born on June 1978, UK, is the director of the company and the only person registered.
Bix also says (I couldn't find the file unfortunately) that in this file it says:
Upon dissolution all property and rights vested in, or held in trust for, the company are deemed to be bona vacantia*, and accordingly will belong to the crown.
* bona vacantia means "ownerless goods"
So bottomline, BCC belongs to the queen, in case BCC goes down.
I think this is quite obvious, specially in the crypto, where rules are different, where there is not really an established legislation, where the community has to teach itself, learn about the space and do its own due diligence. In case you do have BCC or know someone who has BCC, make you or them just watch these videos, not because I want clicks, but because I don't want people to loose their hard earned money to the crown of england.
So stay safe and tuned. Cheers.
