Because everyone tries to cash out
Basically power down or selling their Steem instead of power up
The Steem Supply is Increased by 100% to pay its utilities
IF you hold Steem Power you should get about 90% interest
Not bad for us
Only if steemit.com can gain a few good millions of Members that would care about making the Steem price go up
But it's hard for Steem to gain value
