Welcome to a Free Market Economy.
I Love the world of Crypto Currency because we are a true experiment in free market economics. As someone who despises government interference I look at this new economy in awe because my ideas about how an economy should operate are unfolding in front of my eyes.
It really makes me laugh when I see so many of my friends who are the first ones to say, "there should be a law for that" jumping on the Bitcoin, Ethereum and Crypto Currency train. I think deep down inside every Statist has an Anarcho-Capitalist trying to get out. You see, everybody wants the latest and greatest. You know and I know it, yet the masses continually look to governments for approval.
Crypto Currency has shown us that we don't need bureaucrats to create something amazing! Imagine if Vitalik had to wait for government approval to make the hard fork that saved Ethereum or the government got involved in the Bitcoin scaling debate and forced the world to accept Bitcoin Unlimited. We would get nowhere fast! All you need to do is look at government education programming to understand.

Enter Free Market Innovation.
In an economy where innovation is set loose we see rapid improvements. If you think the fall of Blackberry was fast, just wait until you see how quickly blockchains go obsolete in the world of Crypto Currency. Bitcoin is now like a 57 Chevy. Sure it drives and still gets you from point A to Point B but it needs a serious tune up. Ethereum has proven that it can be hacked and seems to be attracting more corporate interest which in my opinion will slow it down. Imagine where it would be if it was not for the DAO hack!
Now think about some of the projects on the horizon. EOS, Tezos and of course my favorite Guld. These projects could possibly be a huge step forward for smart contracts. If you think for one minute that Ethereum and Bitcoin will always be at the top I will remind you that in free market economics it is not the technology that has the most power that wins it is the technology that the masses love that wins.

Last night @AnaHilarski and I went to a meeting hosted by our friend Ira Miller of Guld. He did a presentation on smart contracts. The applications I see for smart contracts in the coming years will be revolutionary. The world will be flipped turned upside down!

I recommend that you take a look at the other projects and not leave all of your Crypto holdings in just one. Back in the day the Commodore 64 was great technology but where is the company now? Bitcoin and Ethereum are revolutionary technology but their competition is ready for center stage.
