What is kin?
If building a digital service is your goal, then kin is the solution you might want to consider to create a unique and innovative digital product. Kin wants to provide you the tools in order to make a life changing chat service, social network, or digital service via their platform. So basically any application you can create, kin gives you the promotion, tools, incentives, and documentation to do so. Kin wants you to bring users to the app you create using their documentation and wants you to integrate the kin cryptocurrency.
If you are wondering what the case is when people are planning to use the platform to create apps, kin ecosystem plans to be able to handle 1M transactions per day. You can check out the kin ecosystem official website and see what they have to offer here.
Kin was also brought to you by the creator of kik. Which is why they were able to raise so much capital during the private and public version of token sale. Kik was more of a popular thing back in the day (years 2008-16). It is a chat service app that allowed you to create groups, join groups and talk to people around the world. Kik wasn't exactly a "dating" app, but that is what people tended to use it for.
I used kik a lot back then and I found it to be a lot of fun talking to people I never knew, and meet some people and join groups. To give you an idea of how kik worked, I would compare it to whatsapp. If you don't know what whatsapp is then I give up, going back to kin ecosystem - if kik were to be built using the documentation and integrated the cryptocurrency, that is exactly the kind of app that would fit into the kin digital services ecosystem.
What is kin?
Speaking of developing, I already know that everybody doesn't want to be one and neither do I. So you may be asking - what can I do with kin ecosystem, it sound so cool and I want to be apart of it somehow? Well, my answer is that you can either start developing and learning or simply wait for the products to start rolling out. This is the issue a lot of similar platform cryptocurrencies are facing because only a small percentage of people know or willing to learn how to develop. Their is little or nothing to be done yet with cryptocurrencies like kin and that reflects with the price. Which if you didn't know is so close to nothing I don't see how it can honestly get any lower.
But for the people who are willing to develop then to start using kin you can go to the developers website here.
There you can play around and get an idea of how it works.
Does it have a real use case?
As far as I know Kin has more to show then a lot of virtually useless cryptocurrencies I have seen in my day researching and looking into blockchain and digital currency. So with that being said and hopefully you can can agree with me on this, I say that Kin does have a real use case. Let's look at why:
- Kin was created by the same person who created the successful chat app Kik which in it's day had almost 100 million users.
- Kin ecosystem developer program. Allows anyone to work on Kin documentation and learn what it will be like to create the next hugely adopted application for consumers.
- Put it all together and I would say do your own research as well, but I come to the answer that Kin is going to be a very useful cryptocurrency, and once you have something tangible people will be likely to regret not being apart of this earlier.
