Why would you assume BTCs tx fees to keep on rising?
With Segwit already implemented and Lightning Network being tested currently, I don't see the fees rising higher than they are. Quite the opposite, as more and more people are using Segwit wallets, we will see a drastical decrease of fees in the BTC network.
