Today I'm gonna walk you through the coins2learn interface. Some of you have already done all this and that's great! But I see a few people haven't started trading yet, so just in case anyone needs help, read on!

So far I've only been able to find a few of you in the ranks.
Hive account@clairev, you're in position 1129 with a small loss on current investment. Don't panic! The market can turn around anytime. And you can always trade a poor performing coin for one that's doing better.

I was suffering a crazy headache yesterday and was down for the count. But in my sleepy haze I heard my hubby swearing at the computer. He wasn't sure how to start his trading. I heard him watch the tutorial and still swearing. I thought, crap, I better get a turorial together or this league will never be any fun. haha.


Here we go!

The top half of your screen shows the following information. From here you can navigate to your portfolio, see the rankings, as well as select different coins and analyze the charts.


The VERY FIRST thing you want to do is trade your USD for Bitcoin. All trades on this simulated market are in Bitcoin pairs. That means that if you trade your btc for some other coin and then you want to trade that coin for something that is not bitcoin, you must first trade back into btc and then buy your new coin choice. You can easily buy max bitcoin by simply clicking on the USD balance you have. It will autopopulate for you.

At the bottom half of the screen you will see all the buy and sell orders currently on the market for that coin. You can also click on any of those numbers and it will autopoulate the same order for yourself if that's how much you want to buy. Kinda nifty.


This last one is pretty self explanatory, but basically you can use the tabs at the top to select which orders you want to see. Everyones, just yours, or just your OPEN orders. This simulator works just like the real thing. Sometimes you make a buy and it credits immediately. Other times you are left waiting for a while. This allows you to track which orders haven't been confirmed yet.

Now for the pop quiz! I picked my coins on Sunday and have not made any trades yet. The first few days I was down, about the same as most of you. Today I'm up 16.01% and in position 695. So how did I do it? I picked coins I believed in and decided to hold no matter what. Today's pop quiz: Which coins did I pick?

A lil bit of sharing can see a huge difference in ones self-esteem.

First person to guess all 3 gets a 50% upvote from me. Guesses containing only 2 correct answers will get 25% and 1 correct gets you 10%. If nobody gets all 3 right away, keep guessing! I'll confirm correct answers as we go. So for example, if you guess 3 coins and only 2 are correct, I'll upvote you 25% and tell you which guesses were correct. You can then comment again and try to guess the third. If you get it, another 10% upvote and the game is over. The only way to get the 50% upvote is if all three of your guesses are correct on the first try and none of the answers have been revealed yet. Make sense? Ok then...
