the excitement and media attention is growing to fevered pitch around
Digibyte
I am a fan of this coin, no matter how beleaguered it may seem as it has so much going for it and no real downside. I have written three times on this coin recently and I think rightfully so as it is the best in the field.
Spawned from Litecoin, which was spawned from Bitcoin, the lineage is sound, tried and tested. Each time the platform has morphed, it has become faster, easier and offers more value than its predecessors.
*It does not need Segwit or Lightening to be fast... it already is and is programmed to scale as time and bandwidth demands.
- It can be mined on five algorithms
- It is more secure because of those 5 algorithms
- It can be built on with smart contracts (like ETH) only better
- The most de-centralized of all cryptos
- Adds security to IOT devices and services that require increased communications
- It's a Crypto Currency
- It's a Core Communications Protocol
- It's a Global Network Layer
- It's a Public Ledger Layer
- It's a Applications Layer
- It has probably the most animated and bustling community of any crypto
- And it's dirt cheap right now
And people are beginning to understand and talk about it more

I need to make a decision, maybe your comments can help me do just that, as Steem goes down and Digibyte goes up.
