Looks like Binance may be down until as late as 12pm UTC (~9 hours from now).
The previous ETA was for 4am UTC (~1 hour from now).
When the servers do come up Binance has stated there will be a 30 minute window before trading starts, allowing users to withdraw any orders they may have had open when the server went down.
The third largest crypto exchange by volume has now been offline for over 24 hours.
****UPDATE:

****ANOTHER UPDATE:

WHILE WE'RE WAITING:
Any ideas on how to trade this? Is this even a tradeable event? I've noticed IOSToken gain almost 10% in the time since Binance went down.
There are probably other coins in the same situation.
I wonder if there could be an opportunity to find a discount when it comes online...
I've been considering buying some IOST already for a high-risk, potential high-reward play. It seems to have some hype and volume, making bold claims of 100,000 transactions per second, but it's really new to exchanges and still has a relatively tiny market cap at under $250mil. I haven't done proper due diligence on it, so definitely do not take my word for it.
If anyone has any other up-and-coming coins they'd recommend, I'd love to hear about it.
That's all for now. Just some half-baked thoughts. Happy trading and steeming!🚀
