Arthur I have a question that isn't being answered quickly so far in the videos I've watched!

If I want to sell high to buy low and I transfer by bitcoin to an exchange, should I sell to dollars to buy back when it's low or exchange to an alt coin?

I'm not understanding all the fees that are going on, I know I need to learn a lot but wondered if you can advise me on this.
