So ENS is the new thing now.......instead of using your very long eth address you can now get your own name with a .eth at the end.....a logical step forward in making cryptos more user friendly.
Its a relatively simple thing to do straight from MEW. Just click the ENS tab at the top and follow instructions. It will put the name out on the blockchain and bidding starts....like an auction, after a few days it goes into a "reveal" mode where you have to reveal your bid for others to see....then after another day the name is yours, provided you are still the highest bidder .
During the set up you will receive some code....you MUST take a snapshot, copy and paste to a word doc, save it..... you will need the pass phrase words to claim your name.
