I don't know why it isn't a lot more popular than it is, but Magical Crypto Friends is one of my favorite cryptocurrency shows on Youtube. Four of the most notable figures in cryptocurrency get together once a month to chat about the current ongoings in cryptocurrency.
Magical Crypto Friends
Magical Crypto Friends started a few months ago when Charlie Lee (LTC), Riccardo Spagni (XMR), Samsom Mow (Blockstream) and WhalePanda got together to create their own show about cryptocurrency on Youtube.
About once a month these outspoken and well-known crypto personalities all get online to exchange their thoughts about the latest news in the cryptocurrency space. The show is particularly fun to watch because all of them take a very light-hearted approach and as such the show is a hodgepodge of discussions, news and humoristic jabs at eachother and others in crypto.
Magical Crypto Friends doesn't take itself very seriously as a show, something of which the name might be somewhat of a giveaway. Despite this I've found the show immensely interesting and educative at times since the people on the show are obviously very knowledgeable about cryptocurrency and belong to a certain inner circle within the space. That's a stark contrast compared to most crypto-Youtube channels where news is more or less gathered from the same sources where we're all able to find it ourselves as well.
It's fun!
Magical Crypto Friends is perhaps not the best source for the latest scoops, but it certainly is interesting and most of all I think it's a lot of fun to watch. Finally, something a little less dry and clichΓ© than everything else that's out there. And the show has, without a doubt, the best themesong in cryptocurrency as demonstrated in the alpha episode below:
I always look forward to the next episode of Magical Crypto Friends. My monthly intermezzo from the crypto news, ICO reviews and dry negativity of Tone Vays that I otherwise bombard myself with daily.
I am not sure this show will be much fun for newbies who just entered the space, but if you've been around for a while and are more of an intermediate in terms of knowledge, you might find this show fun to watch as well.
You can watch the latest episode (Episode 9) in the embedded Youtube video below, or check out the previous episodes on the Magical Crypto Friends Youtube channel.
Honestly, I don't know why this show doesn't have a bigger following. At a mere 11K Youtube subscribers it pales in comparison to other Youtube channels, but it definitely deserves more exposure. This show is very undervalued! Go check out their Youtube channel!
