Super to read you had some great results. I got to musicoin through your campaign, so I'm one of those you got in! :)
I really like platforms that try to create a different way for music artists to connect to their audience and fans, as well as market their music. I however do not really believe in the model of pay-per-streamed-track. That is where I think these music platforms need to change to the more common model of: 1) pay-per-track-download or 2) pay-per-unlimited-stream-per-day/month/year. The models of iTunes/Spotify/Beatport and others, but then without all the overhead costs of the traditional industry, by default. Next to that, service like promotions and publishing on different media shall be offered to the artists as well. Most of the artists that earn their living with music, will not easily give up the power of the music companies, they have the networks, they have the contacts, not the artists. An artist can be super good, but without a network, generally that artist stays unknown.
