I totally got this blog linked in another writer's steemit post and I’m really excited.
The fellows over at GoldSeek mentioned me in their series of SCAM ALERTS regarding Monkey Capital. Up to now I’ve only really written about conceptual topics like Value Coevals and making myself an instant millionaire but the hard hitting way that GoldSeek presents the juicy accusations with no regard to integrity has inspired me to try my hand at it and what better subject than the muse itself.
If you don't know GoldSeek it's a podcast service that discusses various financial topics and gives out their opinion about investment strategies. They are pretty well known and connected to some big names in the industry. They also hate Monkey Capital with the burning passion of a thousand M-class stars, or at least now they do, they used to love them. The host even went so far as to call an interview with Daniel Harrison the most important one in years.
So, I am putting on my muck-raker hat now, let’s get started!
SCAM ALERT -- GoldSeek Radio Demands Payment for Favorable Reviews
Daniel Harrison, CEO of Monkey Capital, has released emails that tell a shocking and disgusting tale of greed and lack of ethics within the very organization that many people depend on for advice regarding their financial decisions.
Yeah, this is way better than talking about Value Networks.
Sorry...back to it.
It seems all you have to possess to be presented in a positive light on GoldSeek is not a solid business model, or impeccable credentials, just a loose wallet because their favor seems to be for sale. Don’t take my word for it, let’s see what Chris from GoldSeek has to say on the matter.
Perhaps we shall start with a little quid-pro-quo, Clarice. Didn't you always want to be in Forbes?
Now let's up the subtlety a tad. We really just need a few tokens (trading at $700 that day) to cover costs. I mean it's for logos!
Now, if you are going to sell your dignity you should empty the shelves. Let there be no shame left in your game...
Finally when there's nothing left to lose, you go for that final payout, but be direct! Subtlety is in the rear-view by now.
I would say it's safe to assume the answer was no, but I wouldn't put it past them to take the money and still publish this a few days later..
COIN SCAM ALERT -- Beware of Monkey Capital and Its Head Monkey Daniel Harrison! by goldseek
I guess they had gotten as much as they could and it was time to bury Monkey Capital and their financial connection as soon as possible.
You must ask yourself this:
Is the information you get from GoldSeek for your financial benefit or THEIRS?
Well, I hope you enjoyed my first expose piece. It was fun to write but it did kind of leave me with an icky-feeling residue; I'm not sure how the GoldSeek guys do it so easily.
There are a ton more emails but one of the rules of this kind of writing is to leave you hungry for more so I will follow up with an UPDATE in the next day or so.
Let me know how you think I did in the comments.
