I am dropping my XRP and ADA for now and using them to go in on ETH at the moment. It seems like things are going a little too crazy and I am still very much in the green with XRP and ADA so I decided to swap them out for a profit.
Current coins
Steem, EOS, ETH, Doge, Sia
So far EOS and Steem are going strong as hell. Doge and Sia are fairly small investments for large numbers of coins I put in a few weeks ago.
ADA and XRP are taking the bitcoin crash way too badly for me to feel safe holding them right now. But also I am starting to see a general change of attitude when it comes to ETH.
So this is the first time I am seeing this in the context of exiting alts for ETH as though ETH isnt even an alt anymore. The general feeling is that people are getting tired of the shit and ETH is the only major coin that is decentralized, has good technology and isn't generally hated by a huge number of people. Bitcoin Cash and Ripple both have ideological hurdles to overcome.
With that said, ETH still has problems in regards to scaling issues, but I can definitely agree without too much hassle that the ETH devs are at least going to tackle the problem in a way that wont be fucking awful. If ETH gets a scaling solution that doesnt suck then I will have almost zero arguments to not go in much more heavily. I would likely even trade out a decent chunk of my EOS to invest in ETH at that point. I see little reason ETH cannot reach 2k very soon and it may, very well, replace Bitcoin.
Well lets see how this goes for now. I plan to have more info and opinions very soon.
