As most of you already know, China bans initial coin offerings over crypto currency fraud fears.
This has impacted all crypto coins today. Below you can see which coins is impacted the most by this ban.
All crypto coins are impacted by this "Ban" news. Just a few findings...
- Bitcoin is only down -8%, the other coins much more! (double digits). Interesting to see that China ban effect have more impact on Bitcoin Cash (-14%)
- NEO (called: the China's Ethereum) is impacted the most by this ban (- 30%!)
- Ethereum is also down -14% and Ethereum Classic only -12.6%.
- Ripple, which doesn't have to do anything with ICO's, is also down (-12%) -> this is quite interesting, you would expect the impact on this coin will be less. Or at least like Bitcoin, something like (-8%).
But the prices are very volatile at the moment, so these percentages will be outdated soon.
It's just interesting to see, if crypto coins who should not be impacted by the ICO ban, eventually are less impacted.
