In my last article I talked of patience, opportunities, and briefly about portfolio re-balancing.
Today we will see a practical example of swapping a portion of your coin for another.
I'm bullish on both Ardor and Bitshares.
The first one being a very promising scalable blockchain-as-a-service platform, that even EOS can't concur with, due to the hard-to-get needed approval of holders for launching a new product on it.
The second being the fastest and most used decentralized exchange of the galaxy.
I'm not here to shill them. The main point is that I personally think/know they will both succeed.
Now let's take a look at their charts.
Nice pump BTS!
We can see the price being far away of the SMA-200 and the RSI being above 80. Those indicate the coin being overbought.
In the meantime, ARDR didn't see any major pump. Its price is above the SMA-30 that seems to act as a support, and the RSI above 50. Those indicate a bullish setup.
I've swapped a good percentage of my Bitshares to Ardor.
A good percentage doesn't mean I sold everything! I'd never do that, both these projects have my confidence, but on the short-term Ardor have more potential.
How much you should sell of one for another depend of your feeling, the liquidity of the markets, and what size of your portfolio this coin should represent.
