Have you always wanted a ledger nano s, but don't have enough money in crypto to justify spending $100? Or maybe you want to spend that money buying more crypto. If you have $5 or a flash drive lying around, you can use IT!
Step one: Get private-public key combination from any desktop or hot wallet, as long as you control your keys or mnemonic phrase.
Step two: Put it in a .txt or any text file
Step three: Right click the flash drive after plugging in and select encrypt, then select the highest security option, entering password where it says.
Step 4: after encryption, drag text file in and eject.
This flash drive now holds the keys, always back up on paper as flash drives can get corrupted, but know that you can spend the extra money on more crypto, or any other important thing.
