It is good to be back! Last week I have been much away from Steemit only posting color challenge posts. Last week has been my steemit detox week as I have been sick for a couple of days. Might be because of lack of sleep, because after work I post on Steemit. Last week was a well needed rest. Let's cut to the chase and start, time to check out our holdings.
It has been a red day today for cryptocurrencies, 96 of the 100 top coins on coinmarketcap are in red at the moment and Bitcoin at the moment is at $12,000. Ripple is now at $1.44 after achieving an all time high a couple of weeks ago. Ethereum is well surpassed $1000 is now at $1,100. The total marketcap right now is $583,888,055,382. 200 billion short of the total marketcap last edition. I am excited to see my experiment cryptocompare portfolio right now that the most of the coins are in red. Without much more to say let us start.
What is Cryptocurrency HODL?
It is a fantasy style of holding cryptocurrencies per edition I have an imaginary $100 to invest in my choice of crypto. The main goal of this is to see if investing in crypto is profitable in the long term. We buy the crypto with no trend analysis, we buy in maybe on a dip, or when it is at its All Time High.

Looking at the stats recap our holding took a massive hit with a $1,100 loss at the current time. Cardano is still the top dog with a $1000+ profit, but taking a hit from last week with an $800 loss. Rounding up the top 3 is Stellar, and VeChain. Wow our Vechain investment is doing good with a $275 profit, with its upcoming rebranding might pump the price more. Now for the first time we have a complete set of losers this week. Rounding up the losers is Regal Coin, our biggest loser last week too. What a miserable investment haha. Our $50 investment is now down to $2. Rounding up the losers is Litecoin and Power Ledger. Litecoin and Power Ledger are solid investments and I have no worries that it will turn into profit in the future just HODL! Regal Coin I am not to sure about that.

It has been eleven weeks now we have invested a total of $1100 and that $1100 is now $3900+ . Let us see in the coming editions if we can conclude just buying and holding coins for the long term is great and profitable.
