So in my search for any and all sites offering cryptocurrency payments to music artists I have found a very interesting and under the radar site called aurovine.
They use the AudioCoin or ADC crypto coin as payment to artists and users in the way of payments for music purchased by users, but you can also earn for providing feedback in the form of star ratings and then sharing the song in question via your twitter etc (social media).
It's a fantastic payment model idea and i just cannot understand why nobody is really talking about it, it seems that they have low traffic presently to the site and that is a shame as i find it basic to use but well laid out, it's simplistic when you want to upload and share tracks and they even went to the trouble of writing an absolutely phenomenal guide on how to add/send and withdraw your ADC currency earned into a wallet they provide on setup.
Which again the setup is so easy no jumping through hoops or none sense, just set a username and a password and you'r off after you verify by the email they send it takes seconds to do. After this fill out your profile bio and set a user icon (badge) that's it done.
Any way i also read they do not expect a track to be exclusive to them, basically meaning you can list your songs for free and at the same time you can also list your music for sale or streaming on other platforms, without any fear of a copyright strike etc.
You can add and delete tracks from the profile section very very swiftly and extremely easily. It's all in all a great little sit, with simple cover art and title choice when uploading new tracks and a genre you choose from a list.
They even auto generate a 30 or 40 second sample of the track audio, and this can be played when viewing the songs before purchasing just click the play button on the song to hear the sample clip before buying it.
I just thought it could do with being made aware of as it is clearly an oddly named site but definitely a great addition for revenue potential if enough interest develops. They were conceived as a company back in 2012 and offer paid promotion as well if you email for prices.
They will provide you with free uploading and publishing to the site and offer 85% of the revenue to the artist, you can buy individual tracks and albums to it's a no brainer as an additional site to place content as an artist and i will be trying it out very soon for my self .
