I don't really remember how I found out about Steemit but if I think really hard, i'm pretty sure I probably found out about it through one of the Youtubers that have a large amount of followers on youtube. If I was still ignorant about blockchain and decentralized system, I would have considered Steemit to be a scam. What attracted me to steemit was the fact that "it is not regulated and that you can post WHATEVER you want on steemit." (Well, at least that's what I was told then)
Satoshi Nakomoto chose to remain anonymous in a decentralized system for a reason. Genesis mining and many mining farms chose to stay anonymous in a system that is not fully regulated by the government for a reason also. There are many business and companies worldwide that the true owners or founders are not identifiable to the people so why is Bitconnect different?
I love steemit community, I invited all my friends and most of my family members to this community. I made paid Ads to promote this community because I love the platform and believe in the platform.
Why are the members of steemit getting down-voted for sharing or promoting another system they believe in on Steemit? I believe in steemit and decided to invest my own money into this community but I personally feel it is unjust to discriminate another platform without any evidence that they have scammed the people.
Every individual has the right to invest in whatever they chose to invest in and the last time I checked, no one is getting forced to invest in something they do not like. Also, how many years would Bitconnect would have to exist for before the masses would accept it? There are people out there that might hear about all the risk involved with Bitconnect and say "That is exactly what iv'e been looking for" Thanks to steemit.com.
I personally think it is one of the best investment platforms out there and Im glad I found out about it now. They might eventually prove themselves otherwise just like many cryptocurrencies and exchanges, but in the meantime Bitconnect hasn't failed any known person for almost a year of service and any other information out there is a FUD.
