Coindesk issued an article that Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA) issued a warning to Macau-based cryptocurrency service firm, Blockchain Laboratory for offering cryptocurrency related services without being registered. According to the FSA, they've already warned the company several times before making their warning public. They will try to make the public aware of "possible falsehoods" in Blockchain Lab's operations.
This is the first time the FSA has issued a warning since April last year. The FSA seems to be ramping up its oversight into the cryptocurrency world after taking some heat for the $530 million heist of Coincheck.
