Weeks prior to the WannaCry attacks, a group of hackers was taking advantage of the same Windows vulnerabilities that WannaCry exploited. Instead of locking down systems with ransomware, these cyber criminals were putting them to work, using a cryptocurrency mining malware called Adylkuzz.
