Kitty Battles
It's been awhile since I've posted about Kitty Battles. This week has been a bit of madness for me but overall extremely productive. We have officially formed a community dev team for Kitty Battle development. We have some new concept documents to share with you!
Kitty Origins
With KittyBattles every Kitty needs to tell a story. CK gives us this a bit with the Bio, but what about where that kitty comes from. Origins are a way to give every cat a unique starting point. We are currently planning on releasing 8 Original Origins with the pawssibility of expanding them into the future. Origins give some history to your kitty about where it grew up. A Mountain kitty might have an attack called Throw Rock whereas a kitty from the Seaside might have an ability called Toss Seashell
Kitty Classes
Everyone loves an RPG right? Well we plan on bringing the classics to your beloved Kitties. We are planning on releasing 4 Archetypes at launch; DPS, Heal, Tank, Mage. Each class combines with your Kitty Origin to produce a base Skill-Set that will offer you hundreds of build combinations. And more importantly a lot of choices for The Dojo
The Dojo
The Dojo is the place where blood, sweat and tears are turned into awesomeness. In Kitty Battles your kitty is equipped with skills. The Dojo allows you to "Train" like a Ninja-Warrior to produce new skills.
Skill Training
Each Kitty has 4 skills. In the Dojo your kitty tries to Mix/Match these skills to produce new ones (Like Breeding). These skills are combinations of the stats and effects of the base skills.
Example let's say we mix:
- Claw Attack (Basic Attack)
- Lick Paws (Damage over Time)
We have a chance of developing a new Unique Skill with both (Basic Attack) and (Damage over Time) stats!
This emergent gameplay should give you hundreds of hours of entertainment and planning to make the best Battle Kitty Squad.
