I could not resist the hype and I bought myself some little cute Cryptokittens and made a video about them.
I also tried to breed them but the transaction is stocked in the pool forever as I set "low" fee. The ethereum network is now plugged with transaction and my set up transaction fee which was set to 30Gwei was not enough.
At this point we have safelow price set for 53 Gwei which is almost double the price I set for my transaction.
I believe this is great stress test for Ethereum network and lot of hard for development team ahead.
Cryptokitties are first real world application that can bring more and more people to ethereum and cryptocurrency in general.
It shows the power of smart contracts as well but should not forget that this carry a big responsibility as smart contracts cannot be changed while published.
