About to make an Instant payment with Spedn Wallet

The Holy Grail of Instant Crypto Payments
Looking for SPEDN'ers Not HODL'rs
I recently talked about two great projects that I saw on the Consensus 2019 New York Live Streams. The first project I talked about was Mithril, which is an ERC20 based Ethereum token that is not really innovative but rather comes with a huge network of users as well as a successfully proven team backing it. The second project and this post's topic was Flexacoin and the SPEDN app that the founders and creators of this project have created.
Flexacoin will be the native ERC20 token for this project as well, and will be what any business looking to integrate crypto-payments and Credit Card Merchant accounts will need in order to collateralize their crypto-wallet spending app. This is what allows users of the SPEDN crypto-wallet app or any other newly created crypto-wallet app to use the Flexa network that will then take crypto as the payment, and instantly, like as fast as any Debit or Credit Card payment, send it to the retailer for the purchase.
According to the creators of the Flexa Network, Tyler Spalding and Trevor Filter, there are currently many retailers that can already be paid using the Spedn app like, Starbucks, Jamba Juice and Gamestop just to name a few. The Spedn app/wallet will allow you to hold your crypto coins in your wallet, with your keys until the moment of payment, which will then take your crypto, sell it through their Flexa Network which is connected to the Gemini Exchange for near instant payment to the retailer, just like any credit card or debit payment.
Currently the creators for the Flexa crypto-payment system have created the Spedn app/wallet which holds only a few different types of crypto-currencies. The Spedn Wallet (a play of the Hodl meme with the last two letters reversed) pronounced like SPEND, holds the Gemini Stable coin, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum for spending. This could change in the future for the Spedn wallet, since the Gemini Exchange does trade other coins like Litecoin and Z-Cash.
The Flexa Network has been designed to allow other crypto-wallets to integrate with it, not just the SPEDN wallet, but they have to be created (programmed/coded). The creators of said newly created wallet would then have to purchase and stake Flexacoin in order to be allowed to use the Flexa Network. This is how the Flexa Network will be able to make instantaneous payments to retailers without having to wait FOR ANY BLOCK CONFIRMATIONS, since in theory the payment is collateralized and can therefore be made without needing to wait for Block Confirmations. This is the KEY point of the Flexa network. They integrate seamlessly with the Credit Card Merchants, and the retailers need to do just about nothing in order to accept these Crypto/Flexa Network payments, the second important Key to this project.
Here is where I believe Steemit Inc
could truly make a difference to the Steem Network. I am no coder or programmer so I leave that up to coders, but the idea can definitely be implemented. First, Steem needs to get on the Gemini Exchange, or the Flexa Network has to also work with another Exchange that trades in Steem. Then a Crypto-wallet that can hold Steem built on top of the Flexa Network needs to be created. The final piece is to Delegate, Stake and/or invest Steem or Steem Dollars by converting them into FLEXACOIN. Now the newly created wallet by the Steem Community can then send Steem and maybe Steem Dollars if so designed, and spend it at Starbucks, Lowe's, Office Depot, Regal Movie Theatres and other retailers, all via the Flexa Network.
No this won't be easy or simple, but I certainly believe feasible, with major Benefits to Both the Flexa Network as well as the Steem Community.
Here is why.
Most Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and even Gemini stable coin owners are going to be hodlers of these coins not retailer spenders of these coins. That will be a problem for the SPEDN wallet and even any other entity interested in creating its own crypto-spending wallet on top of the Flexa Network because limiting to these HODLR coins will lead to almost no sales in these cryptos. STEEM on the other hand we know has many HOLDRs as well, as evidenced by the success of Steem Power Up Day [SPUD], which is now the Steem Community's International Hodlr-Day (and you thought I was going to say Holiday), but there are also Many Many Steemians who use Steem and Steem Dollars for Daily Necessities. This means that they trade their Steem and Steem Dollars ultimately for Fiat, which is essentially what the Flexa Network does without the hassle. Steemians would simply load up their Flexa Network Wallet and spend at Whole Foods, as would like to do, or even take out small amounts of cash at certain retailers.
Building a wallet for Holdr coins is nice, and will be used but nothing like building a crypto-wallet for a coin that is used by a whole Crypto-community across the World for Daily Needs would be.
Whoever can create this Holy Grail of Instant Crypto-Wallet Payments while also creating a real World daily use case with spenders rather than Holdr's will truly take cryptos to another level, and maybe get rich while doing so.
Don't forget who told you so!
STEEMIANS, run with this IDEA!!
