It is always a very pleasant feeling to get a gift from someone, and specially when it's something that is very close to your heart. Last week one of my friend gave me this beautiful, pleasant surprise, gifting me this Agate Pendant. It's so very beautiful. Agate crystals come in many colors. The one I received is Green and Green is a color of Life, nature, energy, also associated with Heart Chakra, and a color of Abundance too, so all the more I feel good to receive this energy.

Agate is a very powerful healing crystal at a physical level, so in healing the crystal is used based on it's colors, like the green one is used in healing of heart chakra. Overall Agates help bringing in serenity within oneself and in the surrounding environment also. Agates look very attractive because of their lustrous look, and the semi translucent effect it has, you feel magnetic with it's energy. In the olden times, Agate was used a lot in Jewelry. Right from the ancient Egyptian times they have been used in different purpose. The Egyptians were and are still fond of this Crystal. If you travel to Egypt you will see that a lot of stores do sell Agate jewelry. Turquoise and Lapis Lazuli are the other ones amongst their favorites. The other region that is most famous for Agate is Brazil. They are easy to source Crystals but not very cheap also.

But the sad part is, it is very easy to create a Agate duplicate from glass and it is difficult to judge if it is real or not, unless the crystal breaks. So the best way to get it, is from a genuine source. Also the duplicate ones you may get it in cheap bargains. This is the rule of any crystal, if you are getting it for a very cheap bargain, do not fall for it, because crystals are very easy to replicate from glass and nowadays it's a big market so lot of fake duplicity.

Here is my beautiful gift

When I look at it I feel energy, joy, optimism and gives me a very pleasant feeling. I am loving this beautiful gift, I have not yet worn it, as I would first like to do a good cleansing and clearing and then go ahead wearing it. Since it's going to be very close to my heart and throat chakra, I would prefer to have a good cleansing done before getting it on me. Crystals easily pick up the energy and carry it around, so it's very important to have your crystals cleared up on regular basis if they have a wide exposure.
