Hi all, I love posting on social media sites like
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and a few score more.
Why, you may ask? Well, I started my online activity as
an internet marketer in May 2009. I attended a
weekend conference in Brisbane, Australia and the
guest speaker was Australia's #1 internet marketer
Sean Ramussen
whom in 2008 alone had earned over US$12m from
his online businesses. He explained to the audience of
about 300 keen listeners the power of social media;
I was hooked!
I love the freedom of popping in and out of various
social media sites to post may thoughts or to retweet or
share what other people have on their minds.
My computer died on me over 3 years ago and, even though
I could use my brother's one, he would not let me run my
online business; he's scared of being trojanned, hacked or
whatever! For me, I rely on having adequate security and
I trust the apps I use.
Now that I have my own brand-new PC, I'm back!!
So, here's the start of my micro-blogging campaign in
Steem. Pasted below is my last posting on Markethive, and
I have been posting every day for about the last
two weeks there; building up confidence, I guess:
"Four great things have happened to me this day:
▶ went to my twin brother's place where Mary and I used
to stay until 2 months ago, and helped him make a start on
preparing the garden beds now spring has arrived
in New Zealand, and the soil temperature is about 8C so time
to get ready for the planting, snd ended up with
a bag full of fresh silverbeet leaf (yum!)
▶ arrived back home about 2pm and went online for
about 10 minutes then had an internet dropout that
lasted about 6 hours
▶ read quite a few emails from various mailers to get
my credits up and so I can delete these from
the 300k+ emails I have in my main email browser - I use
Gmail as that's the best one for internet marketers - then
sent off a few more mailings, mostly crypto related sites
▶ had Mary's aunt Liz sleep over so we spent the day with
her, and her late husband Richard was the one whom I went
to Rarotonga in the Cook Islands nearly 25 years ago and that
is where I meet Mary for the first time, so auntie Liz is always
welcome around home.
Hope you guys also have awesome rellies you spend time with, and
we'll catch up again tomorrow God willing - Ian. :) "
