#3StepsNoExcuses Day 3 - Risky Business!

Hey all!

It's Day 3 of our #3StepsNoExcuses journey with me. I a blogging and documenting my journey on this Challenge by CTP. Let's dive in!

Now that you're familiar with the format here (3 simple steps to complete each day) let's get crack-a-lackin'!

Today's Three Steps:

Watch the Facebook Training Video on CTP
Watch the ListNerds Training Video on List nerds (I had NO IDEA this was here.)
Watch Plus1Success Video Day3: "Take a Big Risk"

Let's go through each of these steps and grow together as marketers.

1) Watch the Facebook Training Video on CTP then post about #3StepsNoExcuses.

After you're in CTP, click Training > Lessons.

Once you're in the training session, look for the Facebook video training in the Click! section.

Click on the Facebook Training link and watch the intro video to Facebook. This one is rather basic, but needed. After all Facebook is the biggest player on the block for Social Media.

TIP: When engaging people on Social Media, the goal is to use a PULL not PUSH method. This means that you engage with others and you are PULLING them toward you, your site, and your offer. PUSHing your sales letter on people in Facebook isn't going to work.

Your followers on Facebook are going to be much more interested in what you have to say if you're engaging and provide value.

For today, you can write a post about #3StepsNoExcuses and your current journey. :)

Then it's on to the next task.

2) Watch the ListNerds Training Video on List nerds (I had NO IDEA this was here.)

Once you're logged in, click on your name in the upper bar and select F.A.Q. (frequently asked questions) On that page, there's a number of questions that can help you leverage ListNerds appropriately.

What we're interested in is the first Training Video link. Click that link and you'll be taken to the "How to use List Nerds" video: https://listnerds.com/video.php page,

There's some good info in there, including how to set up ListNerds so you receive **commissions where applicable. **

Once you've watched that video it's on to the final step:

3) Watch Plus1Success Video Day3: "Take a Big Risk"

Once you're logged in, the Video section is going to have the Day 3 video "Take A Big Risk".

I really appreciate Jon O and his encouragement in the whole Plus1Success site. It really helps to have someone encouraging in your corner. These videos on Plus1Success have really helped me in my journey and I hope they do the same for you.

In today's video Jon goes over how we grow as marketers when we take calculated risks. This is a good video lesson that we all need to consider. I know I've taken some risks in the past, and some of them worked and some didn't.

I DO know that the best successes I've had have come from taking risks. Here's several examples of risks that are measured\calculated that you can try today to get into the spirit of risk-taking:

Create a video blog on your site.
Send an email to someone asking for their honest opinion about your online business.
Add a friend on Facebook or Twitter that you normally wouldn't reach out to. You can do this on Noise.Cash as well.
Write the first part of that blog series you always wanted to start.

Risk-taking is personal and depends on what you are comfortable doing.

Just remember: **Risk does bring reward but it also brings discomfort... **

You're stepping outside your comfort zone to try something new and expand yourself or your business. Worth it. :) With that, have a wonderful day. Go start promoting your online business with the new tools you now have in-hand.
