An open letter to whom among the Cuban government and people it may concern,
John McAfee is a Free Market Capitalist Libertarian and an opportunist. Therefore, John McAfee is not ideologically driven to aid Cuba in any way despite his claims of charity to promote Blockchain technology and/or cryptocurrencies for the advancement and protection of Cuba and the Cuban people. It is my suspicion that John McAfee maybe utilizing this opportune moment in history to exploit Cuba while in a vulnerable transitional state, by making a deal with United States’ authorities either prior, during, or after he sets Cuba up with vulnerable infrastructure within its IT networks, and/or cryptocurrency IT equipment, and/or software/scripting backdoor(s): to the mining, nodes, custody, escrow, and smart contracts. Since John McAfee is currently wanted by United States’ authorities it is in his interest to inject himself as an attacker on a long standing rival of the United States, such as Cuba, so he can then strike a deal for charges against him to be dropped in exchange for the attack vector knowledge to be executed against Cuba and the Cuban people be it right away or at a set time in the future.
Thus, this open letter is urging the Cuban government and Cuban people to get at least four other experts to verify every single thing John McAfee does or says to carry out in implementing an uncensorable financial system or alternative routes of international business/trade transactions. Preferably, one of the four should be someone who absolutely hates John McAfee and has no ties to the United States, the secondary expert should be a neutral party that has no interests or ties to John McAfee nor hold any opinion of him, the third expert chosen should have no known government affiliations whatsoever, and the fourth expert should be someone that both the Cuban government and Cuban people have a history of trusting. There are other cryptocurrency and security experts than John McAfee to associate with in this transition to participating within a financialized Capitalist tokenized economic system, don’t fall victim to elitism!
Whatever Cuba does, DO NOT create a “CubaCoin”; DO NOT do what the Venezuelan government did with, El Petro. The best cryptocurrencies already exist for your needs and they are: BitCoin (BTC), LiteCoin (LTC), Monero (XMR), and ZCash (ZEC). Also, Lightening Network is now off of the TestNet and in full operation, so there is no need to fret about the transaction speed/time of BitCoin (BTC); get the Lightening infrastructure set-up to speed-up BitCoin “sends”/“receives” — and a bonus is that Lightening allows the ability to charge people using the Lightening Channel (which means that Lightening maybe utilized as a way to implement taxation, if the Channel is hosted through a governmental/public-utility entity instead of for-profit private entities).
Most of all, Cuba, welcome to the cloudy rainbow colored dawn of Late Stage Capitalism where all is now pending tokenization for commodification, may you Accelerate the hell out of it!
