the name of this food is TAPEE, maybe for steemians friends who come from Aceh is familiar with the food that is legendary in Aceh this one, another case with friends steemians from other parts of the world that may be the first time to hear or see this food
yes, the name is TAPEE, TAPEE is a food made from glutinous rice, usually sticky rice used is glutinous rice black and white, but I prefer black rice because it's unique and very different.
TAPEE is made by means of glutinous rice steamed until cooked, then in coconut milk or in the language of Aceh is more familiar with "- Ulie ngoen santan -" after that the cooked rice will be mixed with yeast, after the sticky rice is cold, glutinous meal will be rounded and then wrapped using BILIEE leaf, but there are also some that do not wrap it.
Once everything is rounded, the sticky rice will be neatly placed in a bucket and covered with several layers of fabric, this process is called the TAPEE ripening process.
Then wait for three days, because after three days TAPEE new ready to eat.
