the Acehnese call this fruit "boh jambee hana malee" which means: a shameless guava fruit, For the people of Aceh, give such a name because there is a purpose.
because the aceh people think these guava seeds are outside, in contrast to the cashew seeds in general that are outside, like a human who does not cover his genitals, it will be considered to have no shame, so the view of the people of Aceh.
therefore the people of Aceh in the days of his ancestors gave this guava name as "jambee hana malee" or guava fruit that have no shame.

masyarakat Aceh menyebut buah ini dengan nama "boh jambee hana malee" yang artinya : buah jambu yang tidak punya malu, Bagi masyarakat Aceh, memberi nama seperti itu karena ada maksud tertentu.
karena orang aceh mengganggap biji jambu ini berada di luar, berbeda dengan biji jambu pada umumnya yang berada di luar, seperti layaknya seorang manusia yang tidak menutupi kemaluannya, maka akan dianggap tidak punya rasa malu, begitulah pandangan orang Aceh.
oleh karena itu masyarakat Aceh pada jaman nenek moyangnya memberi nama jambu ini dengan sebutan " boh jambee hana malee" atau buah jambu yang tidak punya malu.
