Were I post a couple of photos about some old European architecture with obvious Arab influence you can spot in the old continent.
These photos are from Portugal as well as the previous ones but from a different location, in fact the first ones came from Sesimbra a lovely fisherman village, and these ones from the capital Lison.
In the heart of the city there is the oldest area named Alfama, the name is tipically from arab root.
This area, during the huge hearth quake that hit Portugal in the past was the only one the survived the devastation.
Really lovely and interesting area indeed in the heart of one European capital city.
