This is the story of the night commemorating Eid al-Adha. So, in my town at night commemorating Eid al-Adha, there is tradition of "takbiran malam". At "Takbiran Night", the government held a parade of takbir and decorative cars. Every village in my town follows that tradition. Each village sent a grub of about 15 or 20 youths and graced the car to follow the parade. The young men who joined the ranks wore Muslim clothes and carried torches. They walked around the city.
There are so many unique car models featured by each village. One of them is an ornamental car that resembles the building of a mosque, on the car there are some people sitting calling takbir while playing a musical instrument.
Then, some ornate cars like airplanes, some decorate ship-shaped cars and many other forms.
The parade was held at 8 pm, along the road that will be passed by a parade of participants who visited by crowds of people around. They bring their children and families to watch the parade.
I enjoyed parades with my friends. We sat at the cafe on the side of the road that the parade would take. We enjoyed food and drinks in the cafe while waiting for the parade to pass.
