August’s Culture Vulture Challenge is Coming.

No matter who you are or where you are, Culture Vulture is a challenge for you.
All you have to do is look around you and share the details of the culture you are living in. Is there a food that is eaten on specific occasions where you live, one that holds a specific meaning in relation to your location or culture? Is there a sacred place near you that is revered for reasons and purposes that would not be well known or easily understood to people visiting from outside the area? Are there any customs or rituals that are unique to your part of the world? What about arts and crafts, cooking utensils, tools, musical instruments, architectural styles or garden designs?

Take a look around you and share the minutiae of your culture by writing a post and labeling it with the tag #culturevulture. Make sure you compliment your post with some local or, preferably, original photographs.
