I pass by some celebrity houses like that of Francisque Poulbot (an eminent figure in Montmartre, renowned for his talent as an illustrator and his generosity) or that of Tristan Tzara (the founder of the Dada movement and a friend of Breton, Aragon, Soupault).
But the most surprising thing, for me, was the discovery of the Passage de la Sorcière. This passage is blocked by a security code (you just need to wait for a resident of the place to open the door 😉). To my great surprise, I found a small hotel there, the Hôtel Particulier Montmartre, which is a truly timeless place with undeniable charm. I hope to be able to take my wife there one day.

Je passe devant quelques maisons de célébrités comme celle de Francisque Poulbot (personnalité éminente de Montmartre, célèbre pour son talent de dessinateur et sa générosité) ou celle de Tristan Tzara (fondateur du mouvement Dada et ami de Breton, Aragon, Soupault).
Mais le plus étonnant, pour moi, fut la découverte du passage de la Sorcière. Ce passage est barré par un digicode (il suffit d'attendre qu'un habitant de ce lieu vous ouvre la porte 😉). A ma grande surprise, j'y ai découvert un petit hôtel (L'hôtel Particulier Montmartre), qui est un véritable endroit hors du temps au charme indéniable. J'espère pouvoir y emmener mon épouse un jour ou l'autre.
