Hello again everyone. I have another five philosophy and/or psychology themed posts for you this week to spotlight some of my favorite posts and authors on steemit. Each post will be upvoted by my account and the account and one will be selected to be resteemed and featured in the official
weekly curation post. Please check out the authors and help them grow on the platform and show them some love!
My first pick this week comes from . I really enjoyed this post as it explores an issue that I struggled with for a long time myself, which is deciding where to focus our energy. The classic "What do you want to do?" question is one that many of us struggle with and often for different reasons. I hope you'll check out her post and read about her perspective on this issue and check out her beautiful photography!
Next up, is a post from that explores the purpose of life. It would seem we have a very similar outlook, but the perspective is unique. It's interesting how so many of us can get hung up on seeking this "purpose" to our own existence while to many of us it's hiding in plain sight. Of course the post is also written in
's signature style, which helps to keep it interesting and colorful in its' own way. Great post!
wrote this informative post about academic research being done among people that have used DMT. I try to remain optimistic in regards to science and psychedelic research, but in the past I have found that many of these studies can be manipulated to produce the answers or findings that the researchers want to find. Hopefully this one is more informative and unbiased. Check out the post for links and more information.
I also found this poem from while browsing the philosophy tag and thought it was nice to find another "metaphysical philosophy poet" on steemit to share with everyone. It seems we're a rare breed as I don't find many others fitting this description, but it's nice when I do. Check them out and see what you think!
My final pick this week comes from . The author explores the desire to be a moral person and relates it to Havel's Power of the Powerless. I am still formulating my own thoughts about this post and some of the issues explored, but I do love when someone makes me think and question my own beliefs, so it was a fascinating read for me.
I want to thank everyone for taking the time to check out this post and help support and grow authors on steemit. It's always appreciated and I hope to continue being helpful! Namaste.
