Upvotes of the Week is a weekly curation post - presenting Sndbox fellow content and highlighting creative / impactful work by the greater Steemit community. (Part of the SBD earned from this post will be split among the authors featured below.)

Hive account@erb: Gazebo 003 is part of an ongoing series in which I reimagine various commonplace architectural forms as sculptural public art installations. After years of seeing the exact same shape in every park, both park-goers and designers have forgotten the gazebo for its original purpose. By transforming the standard form into something completely new, I'm hoping to tear the gazebo out of the background of our parks and bring it back to the forefront of our outdoor experiences.
Hive account@dunsky: My final paper cup design out of six I've been telling last week. Idea was to draw just happy faces here. I am in love with mediation and for me joy and happiness is something with the eyes closed. At least when you are at the peak of any pleasure you are closing your eyes, right? That's why I like to draw smiling characters with the eyes closed often.
Hive account@mintvilla: My design partner’s birthday is coming up soon so I wanted to surprise her with a couple of drawing iterations. I completely dismissed the premise of design and added funky elements to alter the concept. This was a nice way to get around giving off too much of the entry design before anything is announce.
Hive account@playitforward: This is the music and process behind the music for the third highest funded Kickstarter Campaign in history!
Hive account@mrblinddraw: This is week III of #Whisper! If any of you know of the game Chinese Whispers AKA Telephone, this is a take on that. Steemians, what an imaginative and beautiful interpretation that
Hive account@aksinya has brought us inspired by
Hive account@paolobeneforti's Week II art for Whisper.
Hive account@roused: Thanks to the film “2001 a Space Odyssey,” “Thus Spoke Zarathustra” by Richard Strauss is one of the most recognizable pieces of classical music on the planet. That was one of the most effective uses of music in the history of film making. Although this post is only tangentially connected to Zarathustra, it's worth mentioning that he is an immensely interesting and influential historical figure.
Hive account@soyo: Build up Community Characters. Let's make steemit's mascot character an 80's anime style.
Hive account@djlethalskillz: A New Steemit Music Remix Collaboration on the SBD Chart Report
Hive account@jaff8: Just less than a century ago, the kind of phones that were available are clearly different from the ones available now. It shows technological advancements. But, do you think the development in the phone world is only for luxurious purposes? I think you should stay around, to see the answer for yourself.

Hive account@jeffbernst: One of the most exciting aspects to me of becoming a developer is being able to contribute to open source code. The fact that millions of people are currently sharing their hard work with anyone who wants to use it is incredible. It didn’t even occur to me until last week that I’m already an open source developer. 🙂
Hive account@kenan1989: We all know the awkward silence when you are getting to know someone and you have no clue what to say. I think comminitation is kind of art. If you don't know how to communicate well, you might have that kind of silence when you are getting to know someone. I've tried to give some technique explain and how to prevent such situations and how to keep conversation for hours without a lot of effort. I hope you like it.
Hive account@emrebeyler: I have started translating Electron docs to Turkish for a while ago. At first, coverage of translations on Turkish was %3 on that project. xAfter I have got a couple of approvals on Utopian about Electron translations, I have noticed that other contributors on Utopian started bombarding the project with translations.
Hive account@teachblogger: People are crazy about social media. All they care is the number of likes that they get for their photos. What is the reason behind this craziness? Let me tell you my own opinions.
Hive account@bree1042: Today I'd like to tell you how I write English lessons on Steemit. There is no golden rule you have to follow. As an experienced English educator, however, I thought I might help people with teaching posts. Here are certain steps I take when I write English lessons, including deciding theme of the post, finding subject of lessons, brainstorming, writing and proofreading, etc. This is written in Korean.

Hive account@jassennessaj: MOST people would agree that highschool life is the best. It brings a lot of memories that brings out different kinds of emotions—happiness, sadness and yes, excitement! Most people still remember the details of their highschool life. And what else is a more better way to spend class reunions than to reminisce old but unforgettable memories?
Hive account@steeminator3000: It is a classic game review about the 2D Prison Simulation game called Prison Architect.
Hive account@aaronli: Stanley, a beautiful quaint village in Hong Kong. You can't imagine that it is related to pirates in its history
@Leaky20:
The song “Semi-Charmed Life” by Third Eye Blind is an upbeat alternative rock song that was released in the late 90’s.Though the song has a very upbeat and chipper tone and feel to it, many people do not realize that the song is actually a about sex and doing hard drugs like speed and crystal meth. In this article I analyze the song’s lyrics and provide my interpretation for their meaning.
Hive account@ayijufridar: The solution, make just one post one day but with high quality. One great post daily would be better than many posts. You should prioritize things, including managing posts on Steemit. Priority can mean giving priority to your main job because there are also Steemians who get a warning from the office because the office hours are also busy with Steemit.
Hive account@howtostartablog: It's normal to experience zero or close to zero payouts when you're super new on Steemit. All of us have been there but we keep trying to work our way up for more consistent payouts.
Hive account@luvabi: Stroll through these gardens which is considered the perfect wedding venue just a few hours drive from Metro Manila. Brick pathways, pine trees, and mountain views along with a hanging bridge make it a destination for photographers and retreat goers alike. The cold mountain weather adds to its charm as we were able to view it on a lovely sunny day.

Hive account@jrswab: It's a dSound podcast! Yes, I'm back in the podcasting game, but this time it's all about how you can be a better blogger. We all want to grow our influence, and I think this podcast will be a great way to help other Steemians.
@GuyFawkes4-20:
I’m getting more and more project opportunities, and because of that, I have to manage my time even better, especially that many of them haven’t even been launched yet, but here’s a list of what I’m working on, in chronological order.
Hive account@elizacheng: The reason of MakeMeSmile challenge is to make "ME" Smile (which means EVERYONE smile, WHY? You may question... Coz the "ME" is whoever reading the post). So let's spread out the love, smile and joy to "ME"!
